Currency: US Dollars are accepted everywhere. Netherland Antillian Guilders are accpted on the Dutch side and Euros are accepted on the French side.

Drinking Water: Purified tapwater from desalinating plants. Bottled water sold in stores.

Electricity: 110 volts A.C (60 cycle) on the Dutch side. 220 volts A.C. is on the French side. If purchasing appliances on the island, make sure you purchase correct type.

Entry Requirements: Proof of citizenship and return, continuing ticket.

Languages: English is widely spoken. Dutch is the official language of the Dutch Windward Islands and French the official language of French St. Martin.
